Hernán Brusa was born in Buenos Aires, the heart of Tango. He discovered this wonderful rhythm thanks to his grandfather, who had been a ‘milonguero’ during the golden age and always listened to Carlos Di Sarli and Aníbal Troilo in his house.

When he lost his dear grandfather in 1996, Hernán’s curiosity took him to a tango lesson, but he only discovered his passion when he first set foot in a milonga in 1997. Since then, his feet have not left the dance floor anymore. As a DJ he simply plays the tangos he likes to dance, carefully alternating rhythmic and melodic tandas, creating the same atmosphere of Buenos Aires milongas. In all this years he’s been DJ’ing at Salon Canning and Villa Malcolm, in Buenos Aires, as well as many dancefloors in Italy, UK, Russia, Israel, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, etc. The Tango for him is not just a profession, it is a way of living every day, of expressing himself from the most authentic of his being by hugging with someone and breathing together, of getting lost on the dance floor to the beat of an orchestra while the time it stops happening, since in the Tango he discovered a fabulous way to be happy. In the present he’s living in San Petersburg.

He arrived escaping the lockdowns all over Europe, looking for the place where the dancefloors are still alive. He found it here, together with the love of his life. He got married with a local and fell in love with tango scene of the city as well. High level of dancers, very good vibes and nice milongas in an incredibly beautiful city: the best place to be!

Танго для него не просто профессия, а ежедневный образ жизни, выражение себя через самые истинные проявления своего существования, когда ты обнимаешь кого-то, дышишь с ним в унисон и растворяешься под звуки оркестр. В танго она нашел потрясающий способ быть счастливым.
В настоящий момент Эрнан живет в Санкт-Петербурге.

Он сбежал сюда от повсеместного локдауна в Европе в поисках места, где милонги по-прежнему живы. И нашел его здесь, как и любовью всей своей жизни, женился и влюбился в местную танго жизнь.
